FOR JEFF, ON YOUR BIRTHDAY.
Oklahoma summers are hot, hazy, and humid. I don't do well with hot, hazy, and humid but........ we do have cool and colorful autumns and mild winters, usually. Guess I'll stay where I'm planted.

Beautiful! I'd say your making lemonade from lemons. Keep cool. Looking forward to more summer beauties from Oklahoma.

Was in Yellowstone last few days and firs tday was beautiful and then... Snow on way bck home [3" on the pass last evening] Is more now.
Hello Gary, will try to send some Oklahoma heat up to Yellowstone for you. Certainly envy your beautiful country scenery. Love your work and photos and visit often. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely! It's hot and humid here in Georgia too, and it's green, green, green. I need to learn to fudge the green and add more color like this....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Painting. I love your style. Coarsegold summers aren't too pleasant either but, we do have Yosemite to escape to problem is it can be just as hot there in Yosemite Valley, have to go to higher parts of the park to cool off a little. But that's o.k.
ReplyDeleteWe have the green in Oklahoma also. Actually, the commercial slogan for this part of Oklahoma is "Green Country". Fortunately, we also have the red grasses for some contrast. Still, had to learn to mix a wide range of greens.
